Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s A24-produced romantic comedy “The Drama” that had audiences divided with its big twist is dropping on digital.
Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli (“Dream Scenario”), “The Drama” follows a happily engaged couple “put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails,” according to the film’s synopsis.
USA TODAY movie critic Brian Truitt gave the film ★★★ out of four, writing the film doesn’t just “spill the proverbial tea, it drops a nuclear truth bomb.”
“’The Drama’ is a moral thought experiment conducted amid a disaster-filled deconstruction of the romantic comedy,” Truitt wrote. “And given the plot’s somewhat jaw-dropping twist, it’s also one of the boldest, brashest movies in some time.”

When is ‘The Drama’ out on digital?
“The Drama,” which hit theaters April 3, will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, on Tuesday, May 5, an A24 spokesperson confirmed to USA TODAY on May 4.
